About me
Bürge Kılınç, a graduate of METU (Middle East Technical University) Department of Chemical Engineering, has over 18 years of experience in defense technologies, product management, innovation systems, and startup-corporate collaborations. Throughout her career, she has worked in a wide range of areas, from customer-focused sales and after-sales management to product strategy, corporate innovation structures, open innovation, and ecosystem management; at HAVELSAN, she played critical roles in product management, R&D evaluation, technology roadmap, and innovation processes. She led the establishment of the ISO 56002 innovation management system, evaluated over 500 startups, mentored more than 40 ventures, managed programs involving over 200 technical projects, and ensured the production of tangible business outcomes through AI-focused hackathons within the company. With her strategic vision, ability to match technology with real needs, and skill in building trust-based collaborations between organizations and startups, she creates value for sustainable growth and effective innovation.
